You can be wealthy. Have a big house. Drive a nice car. Go on expensive vacations. Do interesting hobbies. Have a great job.
None of it matters if you are doing it alone.
Money
Let's say you have a lot of it. You cannot spend it on trips with friends because you have no friends. You cannot take a woman to a nice restaurant because there is no woman. Money is just numbers on a screen when you are the only one who benefits. You have a nice car but what good is it if you're constantly driving around alone. You cannot buy connection. You cannot pay someone to genuinely want you around.
Home:
You have a nice home but you walk through rooms that are always dark because there is no reason to turn the lights on. The guest bedroom has never been used. The dining room table seats eight, but you eat alone. The backyard has a grill you have not lit since it was installed. The house does not feel like a home. It feels like a mausoleum.
Vacations
You watch sunsets alone. You eat at romantic restaurants alone surrounded by couples. The only companionship was some stray cat that lets you pet it for five minutes, then hissed and walked away because you offered no food. You come back more miserable than when you left. You just paid to experience loneliness in a different time zone, and carried back more misery in your luggage. It hurts to remember the vacation because they are yours alone.
Hobbies
You take up photography. You have a thousand photos of landscapes and sunsets. You have zero photos of yourself with other people. You learn to cook but you always eat alone. You see a film and see very epic moment: the explosions, the emotional reunions, the plot twists, but you experience in silence. No one to grab the armrest and say "whoa." No one to discuss the ending with afterward. A film with great storytelling wasted on a single viewer.
You sink hundreds of hours into multiplayer online gaming but you do not have a consistent group. You are just a random that everyone forgets after the match ends.
You read books, listen to podcasts, learn skills. You become knowledgeable about history, philosophy, science. But who do you discuss it with? Your insights just stay in your head. Knowledge without sharing is just mental hoarding.
Career
You work late because there is no one to go home to. Every day you come back into an empty home. The job gives you purpose during the day, but at night you feel lost. The career achievements mean nothing when you have no one to celebrate them with.
Health
You are in great physical health but the loneliness is what is killing you. You ran a marathon? No one cares because no one knows. You can lift the weight of a house? No one cares because no one knows.
Loneliness is a slow biological execution. Your cortisol stays elevated, rotting your organs and hardening your arteries. You get sick more often and heal slower. Your brain shrinks, your sleep becomes worse. You are more likely to have a heart attack, develop dementia, and have a shortened lifespan. The body you built for admiration is never admired. You are healthy on the outside but decomposing from the inside, and no one can see it.
Pets
You get a cat. It helps, but it is not a person. You cannot tell the cat about your day and get real conversation. You cannot hold the cat the way you would hold a woman. It is a substitute, and it knows it. The cat gives you affection because you feed it, not because it loves you.
The internet
You can talk to strangers online, but people do not stay. Connections are disposable. The internet gives you the illusion of companionship without the substance.
A lot of incels treat this forum like a brotherhood, but sexlessness alone is not a real foundation for trust or friendship. Being an incel is a temporary state, not an identity or personality, and if someone “ascended,” many of those connections would probably disappear. You also don’t know who is behind the screen: trolls, fakecels, women seeking attention, law enforcement, or mentally ill people who may turn on you. Many incels on here have openly admitted they would seriously harm/kill another incel for a girlfriend, which shows there is no guaranteed loyalty here.
