Does 1917 get better? i think i stopped 20 mins in because the movie was giving me theatere vibes with those practical effects and cheographed acting (long shot type directing)

The whole movie is shot this way. The first part, where there are two of them, is better. After that it's mostly unrealistic action with less dialogue.
