The term “larp” is being thrown around a lot on social media as of recently. Even when no one is engaging in live action role play. If you have any ideological beliefs that differ from the social norms or any opinion really that isn’t mainstream then people will say you are “larping”. Being extreme in belief will have people calling you a “larper” and it is a lazy dismissal tool, close minded and potentially a psyop.
It is all speculative but at the minimum “normies” being close minded to anything extreme, politically divergent and neurodivergent. It is a quick way to shut down serious discussions that people need to have and the government benefits strongly from people doing this so that’s why I am suspicious. It is likely not a psyop but either way the results are the same.
I understand people do larp but the way people go about it as of recently is very dubious + cringe. Also the psyop part is only speculation if I haven’t made it clear, I am only saying that because the government benefits from people being hesitant to question mainstream narratives.
PS: I hate the term “normie” but I understand what archetype of person it describes. I just feel a bit cringe saying it and I don’t like engaging in out group activities unless I already have animus for that group. ( Just learned the term animus, the more you know )
