I agree. I’m a Californian born and raised, and I could see this coming when I was in high school back in 2005 to 2009.
California is super expensive, yet businesses get away with paying workers $12 an hour, now in 2024 the minimum wage has been increased to $18 for most jobs (some businesses may get around that), but it still isn’t enough to keep a roof over your head. Financial imbalance coupled with a wide open border, equals more parasites fighting over scraps.
I don’t blame them. In fact, I’m glad they just looted a corporate location like 7-Eleven. Fuck 7-Eleven, the profits they make in tobacco sales alone are incredible, if the 7-Eleven location sells gasoline the profits are even more insane.

crime like this in broad daylight is a sign of a failed city. the fact that this is just another day in California speaks volume. And Beverly hills is a wealthy area right? The fact that such a crime happens there i can only imagine the horrors in working class areas.
