What's the point of these stats, kids with fishing knives, school being vandalized and monkeys fighting in the hallway make people feel unsafe at school? Every couple months a kid at my school got caught with a gun in their bag, I felt unsafe because I had to make sure kids 3-4y older than me wouldn't push me down the stairs, slap the back of my head, etc.

Though to be fair, if I understand it correctly, those questions were asked seperately, so it's not necessary that the kids felt unsafe because of them and could've meant it in the same way you did, where the bullies alone were the problem and those specific things were more so just the background, but they are still necessary to be pointed out like this since a lot of adults have a completely delusional view of what schools are like, either because they personally never experienced bullying while attending them, or because of forgetting the shittier parts of it + nostalgia.
