It’s more common for people to sum someone up as good because they’re nice then it is for people to go the extra step to process why that person is being nice. Some nice people are only nice to feed their expectations they expect something in return because they’re nice when the person is like that there is a chance they might not be nice for a good cause. They could potentially be useing the way in which someone will sum them up as good to make themselves feel a sense of entitlement.
You can only label someone as good for being nice when the nice person you’re dealing with doesn’t have anything suspicious about them as to why they’re being nice. All to often people won’t take the extra step to process why someone is nice this just enables the worst type of people to put on the nice person mask to expect something in return just to be willing to be horrible to the person they where nice to if they did not get what they expected in return.

If they’re nice out of the heart and never expect anything in return while you’ve gone through the extra step to find that out they’re a genuine good person. If you’ve gone the extra step to process why they where nice and they where only nice in association with some kind of one sided entitlement with no deal then they’re the horrible type of nice people who show they’re true colours when they don’t get what they expected in return.
