I don't want to have this vice, it's so God damn useless, bad for my health and costs so much fucking money every month. It's gotten to the point where I get anxious inhaling a cigarette because I know of all the negative side-effects and I still go through with it as if I have zero willpower. 10 times I've tried to quit and failed. Has anyone successfully quit? What advice can you give

I haven't, do they have a high success rate? I've considered them but never actually went through with it

What would a doctor do for me?

Don't actually know the success rate for them, unfortunately, but you should definitely give it a go if you really want to kick the habit.

How many a day do you smoke

literally just stop buying cigs bro

Drink alcohol.

Besides not buying them... Ikr?

One way to cut down is to only smoke outside. Or after sundown... Or after meals... Try to make it something that you must wait for. Or have as a reward for something...

They say the best way to change a habit is to replace it with a different habit.

Good luck fellow smokercel

Try vape pen, worked for some guys I know

Everything is futile. I'll never quit.

You've been addicted to cigs 8 years and you've never tried nicotine patches despite wanting to quit?

Nicotine is what makes them so addictive, get on them ASAP. You will likely still crave the action of smoking but the physical, utter urge to smoke will be relieved if you use patches.

get a vape and ween yourself off by using weaker nic juice until you can get down to zero then quit vaping

I quitted and restarted several times, usually due to anxiety and stress, so idk... try to have a less stressful life, maybe that will help a bit.

Good luck man. Quitting cancer is a miserable experience.
