I've personally experienced this during my blue pilled years.

I'd text my oneitis saying "hey what's up? " and she'd reply after a WEEK saying "oh nothing much. U? ".

I didn't get the hint that she didn't give a fuck about me. Instead, I was just happy to see her text. Whenever she'd reply after a gap of several days, I'd think "aha! she must finally be feeling attracted to my personality" and daydream about us being together.
