You need to grind like crazy to clear challenge runs

It’s really no different to learning a ‘real world’ skill

I’m not even talking about competitive games either, that shit is a whole other ball game

What’s worse is the dread of wasting hours on something ‘meaningless’ only to still fail. No wonder gaming sweats tend to end up as mentally ill troons like Cosmo, shit destroys you

I'm like that myself_ I spend a lot of hours playing Geometry Dash to get better, and it's tiring, but it's rewarding to improve at a game. I recommend you give it a try; it's a good thing for an incel who has nothing else to do.

It's possible to git gud but it takes so much time that, As you said you can learn a useful skill irl instead of that.

Funny thing is, i hate both complicted and simple easy to learn games nowdays, maybe i'm getting old for gayming

"grinding" at games just turns it into work instead of fun

Just have fun playing it is my motto, I don't need to be a pro cause I don't personally need to.

I used to speedrun portal, and actually got decent at it. I got like top 300 in a category on speedrun.com at the time when my run was approved. So I think its if you really like the game or find it easy enough to get good at it

Im better at some genres while shit at others

I don't care if I'm good or shit, I play them for fun.

Gaming is a waste of time so I don't care much. I don't really care about challenge runs or making it harder

I've been playing rhythm games for maybe 8 years now, and it wasn't until couple years ago I decided to try git gud
But people with 1 year already doing 10x better than me so I give up

I always play singleplayer or retro games.

Multiplayer games are filled with hardcore and extremely toxic cucks, who not only are obsessed with the meaningless achievements, but also lifemog me.

I'm too low IQ to be good at PVP so I singleplayermaxx. Bruuuutal IQpill.

My biggest achievement so far is beating Jawbreaker by Viprin (it's a Hard Demon, by the way).
That's impressive. I was gonna do jawbreaker but nine circles ruined my eyes so I had to take a break from the game. I've beaten thermodynamix and nine circles.

I also always take a break from the game when I get worn out, but Geometry Dash is like riding a bike (muscle memory), so you'll come back better than before. I recommend Affright by Vermillion if you want a fun hard demon level with few flashing lights.

Yeah that's true. Ill check out affright.

spending thousands of hours on a game just to be absolutely ass, even gaming makes me depressed these days

Meh, nowadays I'd only try hard at a game if it meant that I could make money with it.
Serious money that is.

Video game ability, like so many other things in life, is mainly up to genetics. If your reaction speed is not at least in the top 0.01%, you have 0 hope of being a professional gamer.

Pay-to-win and updated guides are the only way to improve and git gud at any PVP. It's impossible to be a purist skillmogging god without hacks.

my brother is number 1 in the country at a certain game and living with one of these faggots will drive u crazy
