This is something I've noticed about playing older games. They tend to be more entertaining due to their difficulties, even if they're cheap.

I'm more drawn to play an old Castlevania game than I am a recent AAA release. There's something addicting about over coming challenges and getting better even if you're doing nothing more than memorizing level design.

my life is already on hard mode, why woul i want to also play a game on hard mode?
that s why when i play a game, if it s hard i don t play it if i can t cheat or make it easier somehow

I've played so much video games that I'm desensitized to the majority of them unless there's something especially unique about them. Also, the mechanics have to be tight for difficulty to be fun. It's about getting dopamine release.

Have you ever played Dark Souls 2?
I honestly think it’s the best from soft game

Am I the only one who chooses the highest difficulty on the very first playthrough?

If I can choose nightmare, I will. Just let me suffer already.

I prefer 2D to 3D games

I pity low IQ cels who only play brain dead single player games.

Play Dota or counter strike then

Why do you replace the appostrophe( ' ) with a space? Instead of saying don't you write don t.

Multiplayer games are the hardest. Game ends only when you the best in the world. I mostly just play singleplayer games though.

Let me introduce you to monster hunter 4 ultimate end game beat a lv 140 monster for a chance to get a RNG loot that might give you a op weapon

I think I get what you mean; despite not being retro, I've been playing Geometry Dash for 10 years, it's a game I always come back to from time to time

Yea competitive multi player games are way more fun and you can mog
no they're depressing for a while and you'll usually meet retarded and toxic apes

it's harder to get bored if a game has no difficulty settings, only normal (that is, hard) difficulty.

no difficulty setting just means the developer didn't gave a fuck and simply shat out whatever they could without any thought put into balancing.

My laptop sucks enough to not run any actual games and I don't have any type of console, I just sleep or rot

lol in 99% of cases "yes" difficulty just means "50%HP/Damage" / "100%HP/Damage" / "150%HP/Damage" buff or nerf to the player or cpu. Which means the developer didn't gave a fuck and simply shat out whatever they could without any thought put into balancing. But covered their incompetent ass with a dumb multiplier so the player wouldn't ragequit their bugged mess in the first couple of hours.

they at least still put in the effort to put it in.

Did you beat any souls with 0 experience, not dying a single time?
Nobody can do that because they are trial and error games, it is necessary to die in order to progress your first time around. Unless you don't count using a guide as experience.
