They're fun for sure! Very addictive.

Back when Among Us came out I don't think I was so keen on PvP but I'm realising now that it can be fine oftentimes. It depends on the game, how long you're playing for, etc.

I like to do things when i want. Idgaf about what normies do. I watched joker in 2023 or 2024. I play whatever game i would be feeling irrespective of when it came out. All it needs to do is catch my eye.

I think sometimes it can be fun to be into something when everyone else is.

Some games I'm glad I didn't miss the boat on.

Among Us though... to be fair I don't think I would have gotten THAT much more out of it if I'd been playing it when it was a craze.

Well it's not technically Among Us I've been playing it's a few versions on Roblox.

There's another good one there called Crewmates.

I guess I could play the OG one on my phone probably.

It was fine other than touchscreen controls being a nightmare!

Erm... hm. I mean, it's true that some games are... static. No longer updated, or at least mostly unmaintained.

One example that I play is Mad City Chapter 2 which hasn't had an update AFAIK in a year or two.

It doesn't mean the game is bad. I mean the original DOOM was last updated in what 1993? lol

But it's still amazing.

Also... those Roblox games that are very similar to Among Us are still being very actively maintained I think.

The Roblox ones are comfortably busy enough to play continuously. Among Us... same, but I kept getting disconnected. Maybe because the host of the game left, which is not a problem you get on Roblox games as far as I'm aware.

Mad City vs Jailbreak... hm. Pros and cons. I think Mad City Chapter 2 is very, very good (if somewhat buggy/incomplete), but the developers aren't the best with updates whereas the Jailbreak devs tend to be much better at that which I think is the main reason Jailbreak is doing so much better. Jailbreak is a real mixed bag.

Mad City Chapter 1... it's pretty solid but I find it quite boring. Kind of bland. It's OK. The new rob for 2025 (the mall heist) is really good though!

In practice all three games are very fun ^_^
