It will always be funny how young zoomers and gen alpha view older mobile games

Stuff like Angry Birds, Temple Run, Subway Surfers, Fruit Ninja, Geometry Dash, etc. I got my first Android phone when I was 14 and I already played bigger games on Xbox 360, DS or PSP so for me mobile games were just a pastime when waiting for the dentist appointment or for the train. They were never masterpieces nor I feel nostalgia for them.

So for me it's so funny whenever I see some zoomer or gen alpha nostalgia post about the "golden age of mobile gaming" or "we were playing peak we just didn't know" :feelskek: :lul: What growing up glues to your parents ipad or phone does to a MF. Also old mobile games also had shitty practices like city builder clonic games and pay to win mechanics.

During my time, being an avid mobile gamer is associated with being poor.

Well, for us there was Flash Games which was PC equivalent of mobile games, and so we feel nostalgia towards them.
I can't wait though for gen Alpha nostalgia for tiktok brainrot.

"Italian brainrot was the best brainrot, they don't make them like this anymore" :feelskek:

I have fond memories of my old Nokia and the games on it.

They were nice past times to wait out things but, unless you grew up in Asia, mobile gaming isn't much of a big thing. I know my old friends from there absolutely loved playing these games like Vector, Shadow Fight 2 and some of the others you mentioned however the freemium aspects really hurt my liking for them you were always given ads after ads and a lot of shit just gets locked behind a paywall.

Mobile games due to their limits with hardware and size are just get really repetitive and boring with not much variation at least older ones since it revolved around one sort of unique aspect or design but gets boring after a while so they try make it as addictive as possible.

Mobile gaming was always gay and meme. Their games were always boring and inferior to pc or console games.

My favorite was Jetpack Joyride
