I have observed this among the non white members of my family. They are huge religous freaks, almost to the point of fanatism. I think they are more protestants than the original WASP founders.

If you also walk around the poorer neighborhoods, you will find a church within a stone throw of one another. It's pretty bizarre.

Yes most atheists are white. It has to do with the fact that ethnics have more shitty cards handed to them so religion gives them hope or something to live for. It could also be due to lower IQ. Even in America, the most religious states tend to be the least educated.
