I heard some Soydit members talking about how important breathing techniques are, so I tried the 4-7-8 breathing method, exhaling longer than inhaling and inhaling longer than exhaling, but I found that it just made me lose focus like shit, dizzy, and nauseous.
Probably just another piece of bullshit.

That's right, I find it incredibly distracting to try to interfere with automatic breathing.
 
Try this one: sitting comfortably with space to breathe, take a deep breath comfortably but more than usual, audible exaggerated sigh out comfortably as you relax with the breath. Feel if you can sense relaxation when doing this.

To be honest, I didn't feel anything, it just like breathing normally. And what's the point of learn "breathing techniques" anyway when you can relax just by sitting still?
 
The mental practices like yoga, breathing, and meditation from the first world are so hard to understand.

I mean, isn't everything people from the first world do "right"? Mental masturbation is probably not a problem either.

I feel way more relaxed if I focus on trying to relax, it works for me to sort of sync it with the natural relaxation of the out-breath.
