Mine is more genetic, though not by a large margin. I'd say it's 60% genetic and 40% environmental in my case, since I wouldn't have been an incel 100 years ago in all likelihood.

Demographics is part of the environment, no? And population is just one of the problems that we face. Dating apps, social media, and harmful chemicals in the atmosphere stunning our development also contribute to our inceldom.

I'd say more environmental, but hear me out before casting the stones:

I'm definitely ugly, but not ugly enough to have been incel back in the better days of marriage and actual patriarchy (which would be REALLY ugly, truecel tier).

I think it's mostly environmental, I look exactly like my father when he was my age (Not exactly sure how tall he was, but based on old pictures he looked taller than me, not by much of though) and he actually had success with women. In other words, I would have been considered normie tier, possibly HTN if I lived in the 70s/80s. Also, i developed social anxiety and disassociation from others.
