Why is this where normies draw the line and randomly become ambientalists? I see everyone complaining about the AI water usage online. Then maybe they drive a SUV to go buy milk (which wastes way more energy than AI). Or they stream 4K movies on Netflix all day. I'd assume that even the CO2 waste produced by the AI industry itself would be more damaging for the environment than its water usage.

Same with not eating red meat from their country for the enviroment but still they buy imported vegetables and fruits that has been transported on an airplane.
They use a hell of alot of water, considering that these models can't run on consumer hardware because they are too big. Maybe if more people sourced it locally, they might have less water consumption/usage.
