Serious Is this an effective suicide method?

I built a radio tower near my base in my Minecraft: Java Edition world, I think it's at least 50 blocks (~12 stories) tall. Do you think jumping from the top is guranateed to kill Steve? I have also installed a mod that allows you to spin in all 3 dimensions while falling, but it's a bit too realistic and you have to take momentum and air resistance into account whem trying to fall head first.

Those things have sensors and cameras. If you think that Steve can make it up even if there are people at the bottom urging him to step off then I don't see why he wouldn't lose all of his hearts.
