Hey guys, I'm reading and watching more 'technical' things these days, mainly in English, as I want to improve my language skills.

Do you think that seeking more and more knowledge in any area is a good cope? I would say yes, at least for me.

it's basically pointless if you can't put the knowledge into practice in real life

Yes, I cope like that as well.

you're right, one of the reasons I would say yes is because all I read are things I will use or just fun to know

Use knowledge to get rich mofo

knowledge is tje besy you can do tbj

It's kinda like what I've been doing. Improving my English and German skills, mainly through vocabulary acquisition from things I like to read, in the hopes of it being professionally useful one day.

Anki worked great for me. I'd usually quit things fast and have a big problem with consistency but after a while you just don't want to lose your streak anymore.

I'd say it's not bad, if you have things like depression or ADHD (I have both btw), anything remotely productive you manage to cling to is a win.
