I feel like "friends" are a childish childhood thing anyway, like birthdays. They're childish, but it felt good to have them as a child so people want them to keep going into adulthood. As an adult you can have acquaintances and contacts, but there are no friends after age 18, or that was my experience as a 40+ year old.

This is why I can’t talk with normies and have no interest to ,I have Asperger’s and back in my teens it was detectable from a 5 mile radius,it’s not that much better now in collage I hardly talk with anyone because I’m excluded and my dialogue tree is empty because most interactions especially with females are impossible and leave me with nothing to work with.
