It's a stupid question but bear with me.
I don't mean something like every attempt or even mistake is part of the journey of learning, and so it all adds up to increase your knowledge.
No, I mean something more concrete. Like you do something, you create something and then that thing will forever be part of your progress. Tangible. Like levels in a video game, something that adds up and the more you work on it, the more it grows and it just keeps adding up. Or where you create stuff and it accumulates. But not just stuff in the sense of how you can save your drawings when you learn how to draw, but actually stuff that remains useful or contributes to your total somehow. Or like, if you spent an hour on something, that progress is forever added to your total. Not just by learning the skill better however, something more tangible. As an abstract example, let's say you have 100 of X, and after you spend 1 hour doing that activity you have 101 of X or whatever number. But it's forever increased, never to decrease.
Tbh if such a thing existed I could dedicate my life to it. But unfortunately irl nothing seems to work like that.
