There's like three sets of low-res (and probably photoshopped) photos that have been circling lookism forums for years. Why can't I find ONE video of a guy who got good looking after cosmetic surgery? You'd think with a billion people on social media and so many celebrities that it would be easy to find verifiable examples of cosmetic surgery making a difference on a guy.

I assume this could be due to a form of (reverse) survivor bias. You mostly don't notice, if it is well done (kinda akin to CGI in movies). There are definitely celebs, who got surgery. Ronaldo and Angelina Jolie for example. Also most young people don't have the money or are not blackpilled enough to spend huge sums.
Most people getting surgeries are self-consciouss and prolly hide their past.

Maybe, but I see it as the only want to ascend legitimately and it's at least a goal to strive towards instead of just ldar and let my genetic line die out. That being said it can't fix everything and turn a trucel into a slayer but from what I've seen it can at least fix a few of my flaws and get me at least something.

how would they find that out? You don't tell people you got surgery and if they see highschool pics then just say that you had a glow up or a late puberty.

That's why I said celebrities. They can't hide videos of them before surgeries when they were supposedly ugly.
I can't think of even one male public figure who got from ugly to good looking that wasn't losing weight and different grooming. I sometimes find before-after photos where there's significant difference and I get my hopes up, but then it turns out the before photo was the most unflattering photo they could find with a goofy facial expression and on every other photo the guy looks a lot better.

Maybe ugly people simply don't have the confidence.

But yeah, surgeries are easier said than done and there are many bad doctors plus the market is an unregulated mess.

It definitively needs more research, transparency and institutionalisation. One reason I am a socialist. The right will never accept looks to be a hindrace, that needs financial attention.
