It heavily relies on microtransactions, subscriptions and old games, maybe if Valve made a Linux console and subsidized its price it would grow the PC market

I might agree if only the pc gaming wasnt getting constantly cucked by graphic cards manufacturers for the last 10 years. Only saving grace for pc are games made before 2015 and modding.

FREE online multiplayer and no need for ps plus or xboxlive pass seems reasonable to me, I myself have a PC console, Basically a desktop PC on the floor which i hooked to a tv and use a PS4 controller wireless to my steam library

Consoles have always been PCs. Early consoles didn't have operating systems and their architecture varied further compared to now.

I use both consoles and a PC with an rtx 2060. Steam auto launches but there is no way to make it launch automatically into big picture on windows startup
