For the past few days I've taken some steps to attempt to lucid dream, i haven't achieved it yet though. Can anyone here who's successfully done it even say it was worth the effort in the end? I feel like if it were really worth it and something to experience, it would have a much greater following than the fringe few that say its effective

For years I have been dreaming in black. I prefer it that way. I don't want to wake up crying or wanting to commit suicide (in VIDEOGAME)

a lot of people daydream to cope here, lucid dreaming is going to be much better, so yes its worth it.

I spend my every waking hour daydreaming, so I would assume lucid dreaming is just a better version of that

Ive managed to lucid dream before and knew I was in a dream but I couldnt contol anything so it was useless
Did you remember much after you woke up? I always forget 90% of the details 10 minutes after waking

it's a massive cope, you're not going to feel anything at all
you might probably ejaculate but that's the only thing you might experience. you're definitely not going to feel anything special

I wish I could have a lucid dream but it has never happened sadly

bullshit I have felt things but the secret is do not try and conjour up someone you liked in the living or dreaming realm. let your dream give it to you.

play more and your will eventualy have a lucid dream I have read somewhere it has not worked for me. Maybe to as much reality checks as possible while playing the game.

play more what?

what are you referring to when you say reality check
tesing our reality by for example pushing your hand through the wall or pushing your finger through your hand, or my favoriate is looking around and asking if your dreaming as many times as possible while awake.

That's the crux of luciddreamaxxing. In order to feel anything: you must have had an sexual experience before. If not, your brain attempts to fill in the gaps which in return makes everything feel incredibly unnatural and odd. For me, it feels like a weird way to masturbate. And oftentimes, the process itself just goes plain wrong. Otherwise, lucid dreaming, in general, is an escapist's paradise. Since you can ostensibly create a sandbox game out of real life. But on the contrary, it only lasts for a few fleeting minutes and goes by in a flash. You can't have anything good in life. Plain and simple.

it is better than nothing.

it is better than nothing.
This and without those details cannot know what you miss out on if you cannot even comprehend it on a level. Aa for sex does it not last only for a few min anyway? Is an orgasm not just a few seconds really?
