Is it actually possible or realistic for incels alcoholics to become sober?

If you look at most recovered alcoholics they usually have a place in the community and a partner even, and a supportive social network, as an incel you have none of these things, and alcohol and even drugs are the only thing that give you a respite from the constant agonizing about how lonely, autistic and ugly you are and how much people instinctively just hate you on sight because of your differences, is it actually genuinely possible for people like that to be successfully sober? and by successfully sober I mean sober and at peace, not sober and constantly tormented by the thoughts with nothing to shut them down, just clawing your way through the day daily existence

I can usually stave off alcohol for about a week. I'm not sure, since i usually drink a beer or have some wine every day or two. I just can't muster up the willpower to stop honestly my copious amount of drinking paired with my inability to find a job is sorta the reason why I'm not on here as much. Also drinking alcohol makes me feel like a king.

Well statistically there is indeed a correlation between being better looking/taller and excelling at these things. But it is very possible and actually quite easy to get the mentioned things even as a sub 5. No one stops you from going to college, starting a business or getting a job. Depending on how disaffected you are when it comes to looks some social situations will be harder for you than for others but what people like you do is sink into total self pity. You might have made a couple bad experiences and now your brain filters out every positive one and makes it look like the world is against you constantly all the time.

Dating is actually hard when you’re bad looking. But I’ve had more sub 5 bosses in my life than chads or htn’s.

The thing is, if you drink for years, you not only deteriorate physically, but alcohol also stops giving you as much as it used to.
The high doesn't make you as euphoric as it used to.
I feel awful more often than I feel good. It used to be different when I was drunk back then. The withdrawal symptoms are also awful.
