Experiment Is Islamic aggression caused by race or religion?

Religious aggression can be seen in virtually all religions in all people, but I want to do a little experiment today, focused on Islamic aggression because it is such an hot topic and very relevant.

Islam itself tells you not to befriend kuffar (infidels), attack them and force them to convert or pay a special tax (Jews, christians). It is also expansionist.

Surely it would explain the Arab behavior...right?

Well, not entirely. We have the biggest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia.

If religion is solely to blame, why are Indonesians and Malaysians, and central Asian Muslims mostly peaceful, while Pakistani and Arab Muslims are very aggressive?

I believe the underlying cause is due to race.

Arabs were evolved for ancient and bloody warfare, where aggression and brutality is key to success, whether it is replacing other people (demographic warfare) or military warfare.

Contrasting fact which also proves my point: the central Asian Muslims, which are not very religious, are also very aggressive in Russia, engaged in crimes. That matches with mongol/Turkic expansions. Although outside Russia, central Asians, while carry warrior spirit, aren't too criminal.

it's 10000% race. if there wasn't islam, arabs would be killing others over statues instead of allah

though I would have to say it's mainly arabs that are the problem. point to literally any other muslim demographic and they arent as savage and barbaric. if any of them are, it's mainly due to poverty. but you still see wealthy arabs engaging in barbaric acts. I would say living in the desert over a long period of time causes one to behave that way

Some cultures are more martial and xenophobic than others, reflecting the environment in which they took form. The Chinese, who lived under a unified continental empire for much of their history, were less warlike and more mercantile instead, in contrast to the Japanese, who were divided into warring fiefdoms on an island for much of their history and developed a militaristic and xenophobic culture as a result.

The groups mentioned above don’t really take Islam all thay seriously though. Same with Central Asians. Malays would be a better example, as they’re a peaceful population but one that’s actually Muslim

A peaceful (not pacifistic) religion can sometimes cause an individual from a an agressive race be more peaceful, while an aggressive religion can sometimes influence an individual from an otherwise peaceful race into becoming more aggressive.
