First, Just because uglier women are having children with better looking men, doesn't equal to a decrease in attractive people. Since the beginning of time up until 20ish years ago, there were more ugly men having children, which cancels out that side of the argument.
Second point is the internet creates expectations of what men need to achieve, doing everything they possibly can to become the most attractive versions of themselves e.g looksmaxing and cucktok transformations.
Lastly, I have experienced this with my own eyes. Since around 2015s era, it was very rare to see a genuinly good looking guy between 16 - 25, now everytime second person is 6.5+.

Genetics can predispose you to addiction (smoking, alcoholism, drugs), neuroticism (affects stress levels during pregnancy) is in large part heritable, and the strength of a mother's immune system and her susceptibility to hereditary conditions (both genetic) obviously play a role in influencing her health during preganancy.
There's an effect on height too, because a mother's health & nutrition during pregnancy influences a child's ultimate growth trajectory – the effect of the prenatal environment isn't just on facial looks, but on your appearance as a whole. An even more important detail that you're ignoring out of these pairings, is that foid daughters being reproduced in these scenarios are also increasing in height because of them having tall men as fathers.
