I see studies like this saying the rate of attempted suicide for trans teens is like 12X higher than whatecver the norm is
The only reason the word attempted suciide has any significance to anyone is because it has the word suicide in it.
But suicide = death while attempted suicide does not,
yet most people hearing the word attemted suciide think suicide.

The high rate of shortcels/incels committing actual suicide is either blamed on the shortcel by society or dismissed

I would love to see an accurate statistic as to how many "attempted suicides" are female. I bet it's over 90%. When men want to die they usually do something that can't fail or have an EXTREMELY low change of failing.

Like I'm sure there are some attempted suicides who are male and they somehow survived shooting themselves in the head or the rope broke or something like that but I highly doubt there are very many of those. Usually female attempted suicides are them attempting to overdose on tictacs or any other method that has a good chance for survival. Men shoot themselves in the head or jump off a skyscraper or jump in front of a train, all methods which someone would use if they actually wanted to die. Women attempting suicide is just them wanting some sympathy.
