- fun childhood
- wild teens
- chaotic but constructive 20s, including marriage
- having a family and kids in your 30s
- older kids in your 40s
- they mature, maybe move out
- then you eventually retire with your partner and live by the sea or something

It's like unless you successfully do all of that, you're not getting the full experience. And notice how from 20s onwards the difficulty starts to increase, especially for men and especially if you have any additional obstacles like health issues.

To be fair, with the way things have been going in the US for the past few decades, few people can afford to have children or buy a house like previous generations did.
 
Fun childhood lol. I was bullied relentlessly (physically and verbally) since my first memories.
 
I’m forever stuck at okay Childhood, I’ll never have anything beyond that :feelscry:
