This game is not the survival horror of having to run from fictional creatures and monsters. This game deals with the horrors of existential despair, nihilism and ruin that comes from failing to be a part of society.

Game synopsis from STEAM​

Social welfare survival horror based on real events. Endure emotional pain and societal pressure. Stay entertained. Survive the routine and become the hero of your studio apartment—battle inner demons, hide skeletons in the closet, and most importantly… keep the bathroom clean.

How long can you survive unemployment?​

The year is 2018, you are trapped in a single-bedroom apartment somewhere in an undisclosed Nordic welfare state. Your objective is to survive in the mind-numbing loop of long-term unemployment and social isolation.

Survival

You have stats to manage: the physiological needs of the body, and your mental health. Maintain high dopamine levels to avoid a literal death by boredom. Eat, drink (responsibly), use the toilet, wash yourself, hide from responsibilities, and keep yourself sufficiently entertained. Just stay alive, ok? Survive the week. It'll get better.

reminds me of a game named creatures released in the 90s in which you raise "norns" who are essentially like ai with some awareness and genetics and they get brutally fucked up sometimes...brutal shit....

it is brutal....I watched some documentaries about it, people all the way back in the 90s made a forum dedicated to torturing norns or raising incel norns in response to forums that raised perfect norns, they made something like anti-norn communities in which they upload tortured/incel norns, and players would try to rehabilitate those incel norns, and those creatures would often be nearly impossible to fix since they're good at nothing even at keeping their own selves alive because they were so abused (by continous slapping or genetic modifications) and scared to do anything like eating or moving
it is kind of how we live...
