IDK. The internet was both a blessing and a curse.
On one side, it allows us to access places like this forum, as an example. Before the internet, it was much harder to find like-minded people if you had any fringe ideas or interests outside of the mainstream.
On the other it helped the spread of globohomo immensely and turned everyone into a bunch of retards with the attention span of a goldfish. Me included probably.

IMHO the internet should have never evolved past 2006. I hate how smaller websites are basically dead and everyone goes to the same 6 giant ones where everyone reposts the same shit.
