The following rules will not be applied ex post facto, but the Moderation Team may take prior posts into account in a holistic assessment of a member's willingness to participate in our community in good faith.

Effective May 1st, 2022:

1. The "no sexualization of minors" policy is hereby expanded and now prohibits:

• Statements by a member implying or stating that they personally find prepubescent minors attractive (current rule); AND
• Statements by a member arguing that attraction to prepubescent minors is normal or even desirable;
• MAP advocacy* and MAP-specific talking points, for example:
  • Statements by a member arguing that prepubescent minors enjoy sexual activity with adults;
  • Statements by a member arguing that pedophiles will one day be liberated in a utopian society that accommodates their desires.

*MAP advocacy will not be taken to include a general discussion of child sexual exploitation from a political or legal perspective (e.g. a critique of Redditors' hypocrisy with respect to Dr. Pizza, or a critique of the criminal justice system in general), if minors are not being sexualized.

The Moderation Team declines to specify a bright-line age rule to prevent potential violators from engaging in a race to the bottom by cherry-picking and sexualizing images of children undergoing early or delayed puberty.

2. The Moderation Team will adopt enhanced penalties for users who:

• Explicitly state they personally find prepubescent minors attractive.
• Violate any aforementioned rules in a particularly egregious manner (e.g. promoting or defending sadomasochism and incest involving prepubescent minors, or any sexual activity involving male prepubescent minors).

Under this system, violators may be permanently banned even on a first offense.

3. The anti-proselytization statute will be targeted toward users, especially graycels, who spend an unnatural and disproportionate amount of time defending or promoting pedophilia.

A big concern I have here is that you could have some of the mods being malicious and skip right from a warn to ban on the basis of "attempting to circumvent" even if they weren't.

Even before I commissioned @CCPcel to draw up our new rule against pedo content we had an existing rule against illegal content in general and this would likely fall under that.

So even without expressly sexualizing a pre-pubescent girl posting photos of an underage girl’s nude body likely violates US and probably many other country’s existing laws against possession of or distribution and or displaying of child porn even if it doesn’t technically in one’s own mind/opinion qualify as being sexual/sexualized.

I’m obviously no lawyer or legal expert but probably the only place or institution allowed to possess nude images of underage girls are morticians/autopsy offices/buildings, various police departments/FBI and or large medical institutions like learning/teaching hospitals and such.
