when most kids were playing Minecraft, I was playing the GameCube. Although this was primarily due to growing up in a lower income household that couldn't afford expensive things, I've never been into trending games. I have never once played Fortnite and I don't plan to. I could've played Fortnite when I was younger and it was still new, but I had 0 interest in it. The only massively trendy games I've enjoyed are Skyrim and Halo 1, and I can't replay Skyrim now because I've realized how utterly shallow and boring the game is after you've played it before.


The games I play might be part of popular series, but they certainly aren't popular among normies my own age.
Especially since I'm mainly interested in older games.

Most "trendy" games now are competitive dog shit shooters like Rainbow Six Seige and Call of Duty which is the same slop each couple months they make a new one.

Pve was much more fun and less stressful, i hated how they neglected that mode in favour of BR. Fortnite is also the reason why modern games are so unoptimized and so blurry. It's not even available on switch 2 so it's safe to say that they will shut down servers some time in future

I've usually started played popular games when they weren't as popular anymore as I was too busy playing old games, tbh.

Whils minecraft is still popular and was very popular a while ago, I wouldn't call it normieshit.

It basically is a sandbox game but one with interresting mechanics where you get to write your own story.

You can build whatever. Hell, I've seen people build computer within this game on which they'd play minecraft within minecraft.

The redstone mechanics alone are so interresting.

I sometimes just sit in my tiny home in Minecraft, next to the fireplace during a thunderstorm at night and just relax, looking out of the window, watching the mobs.

It honestly really depends. A lot of the slop coming out these days I'm not into.
