One of the main things that sucks about being short is that you constantly get an earful about how "you're gonna grow tall" and your mother (and grandmother in my case) expects you to be taller than your father.
Thinking back on this now, this was probably one of my earliest exposure to blackpill.
For context, my mother is 5'3 and my father is 6'0
Between my two siblings and I, I was the largest baby my mother had. There was clearly some expectation of me being tall from the start.
As me and my (older) brother grew up, my parents constantly took note whenever we grew taller.
My brother lucked out and grew to 6'1. I lost the genetic lottery and became 5'5.
When my brother grew to his height, my family sort of mini-celebrated. When I grew to my height, my family is still hoping I grow tall
For most of my childhood and teenagehood, I was among the shortest in my class despite being the oldest (I got held back), so I was assumed to be the youngest. I've only grew to my height about a year ago and it seems like I won't grow any taller.
Speaking of which, I've long suspected my family treat me like a child (e.g. stultified me, talked to me like one) because of my height as well as being babyfaced which made me look neotenous. In fact, I probably sensed that my family is disappointed I didn't grow tall and thus is atleast subconsciously punishing me.
You just can't win in life if you're a short man. Your loss in the genetic lottery follows you everywhere in life.
