Discussion on .is surrounding what incel does or does not entail has become cluttered and complicated.

Incel - Involuntary celibate, one who wants sex but cannot get it.
Volcel - Voluntary celibate, one who can get sex but does not want it.

Obviously, a pragmatic lens must be applied to these definitions or most here would be considered volcels. It is impractical to call anyone who has enough money to pay for a prostitute a volcel. Even if they didn't, they would technically be able to rape. It's probably more practical to consider these two terms on an axis.

Trucel - KHHV, would get turned down by prostitutes or the ugliest of the ugly foids. Truly doomed to a life of never experiencing sex.
NDcel - KHHV. Other factors are good enough to ascend, but doomed by ND.
Looksmatchercel - KHHV, probably sub-5, but would not ascend with a 500lb torta (given they're not also 500lb). Has a sense of dignity.
Anti-buxxer - KHHV. Refuses to buxx for a relationship.
Escortmaxxer - Are they still able to be considered an incel if they regularly pay for sex? Would them stopping their escortmaxxing then make them a volcel given they still have the material conditions to do so?
Currentcel - Has had relationship(s) before. Probably some hiding on .is

so when people say "ascend" do they mean get into a relationship? if they slay a random foid but couldn't get into a relationship would they still be considered an incel? this never happens though so I guess it's not important to consider.

Depends on its called a spectrum for a reason

so when people say "ascend" do they mean get into a relationship? if they slay a random foid but couldn't get into a relationship would they still be considered an incel? this never happens though so I guess it's not important to consider.

Ascend means either a foid voluntarily has sex with you, so she sees you as attractive enough, no relationship required, still you could say that this has its limit, for example if your a white 3/10 a foid in asia would probably rate you a 6 or 7 compared to her fellow country men, so you could probably ascend with (even have a relationship) but you could still be considered to be an Incel.

You could discussed if some 20 yo guy, who where able to have some half drunk bitch to fuck him, but werent able to have free sex with women for the next 10 years could be considered an Incel
