Internship is basically either slave or cheap labor by definition.

Usually interns get the work nobody wants to do under the guise of learning, even though they might learn something.

My software dev internship started with writing documentation for decade old customer integrations, and at the end I got to implement a few new ones myself.

Suffice to say, it sucked. But at least now it is over and I have a decent job.

Because you're working an internship and presumably aren't getting paid much, if at all. Trust me, when more money comes into the equation you'll be more willing to work
