I'm starting to understand why Roblox wants to add a section for adults

I guess it's becoming more popular with adults regardless so it's just a system to handle that.

It's becoming a much better platform and is I think on par with Steam now in terms of popularity which is just wild.

The name "Roblox" does sound kiddy though which is an issue I think. It's that "blox" bit.

I don't know what the solution is to that. But I hope that making it more universal won't make it lose its fun character >.<

Roblox is still fun but I liked it a lot more in 2015-2018

I played it most heavily in 2018-2021 and it was amazing then too because Jailbreak, Flood Escape 2, Piggy, etc.

Now it's gone more mobile-first it seems because that's where technology is going... which I think has resulted in the games becoming simpler and lacking the same degree of depth and amount of action.

But who knows maybe soon some company will make an amazing controller add-on for phones and then it will change again ^_^

MM2 is pretty fun! It's still really popular.

Piggy is also still surprisingly popular seeing as the updates seem less frequent now.

I don't know Assassin or Framed but Counter-Blox yeah seems to always be going fairly strong!

I've never played roblox, only seen clips of that guy raiding peoples streams and saying "nigger" non-stop to get them banned off twitch.

I remember how I used to play with my only friend from elementary school that one ripoff minecraft game since I was poor and couldnt afford real minecraft, or those train tycoons or the game with pirate ships that were sunking based on the damage and trying to stay alive the longest. It will never be the same again.

That's definitely part of it but... I don't think it's just nostalgia. I don't think it could be becoming THIS popular off of just nostalgia.
