I'm pleasantly surprised by Trump's reign

Ofc I don't like everything he's done, but as of now I'm satisfied with how he's handled tariffs. Most don't understand what he's doing which is finding an alternative avenue of garnering revenue for the government (which could in the future lead to the income tax being removed) and making trade fairer to the USA so that more countries potentially buy USA exports. (The latter is unlikely) So far the former has been extremely successful with over two billion in revenue raised. "That doesn't effect you inkwell!" It means that eventually I might not have to pay income tax which does effect me.

I'm also pleasantly surprised that he put Israel in place and forced them to buy billions in American goods. It was funny seeing Ben Shapiro ranting about how his Israeli friend who sells diamonds to America is suffering because of tariffs.

Just now be removed tariffs on computer and phone chips so vidya won't be effected by tariffs. Very based.

I'm from Chadstraulia so can't really speak on the possible cost of living effects, but as someone who stidied economics for a bit it does seem a little retarded. But I'm all for the stock market crash, it mostly hurts stick-up-the-ass boomers and assett-management conglomerates which is so very satisfying.

My favorite thing about Trump RN is the tarriffs.

A few years ago in New Zealand our right-of-centre govt and leader were promoting the TPPA (trans-pacific partnership agreement) which was basically a regional free trade and tariff reduction agreement.

Because he wasn't left, all the political lefties were screaming the usual dumb lefties slogans.... NO FREE TRADE! NO GLOBALIZATION! CORPORATIONS BAD! THE RICH GET RICHER AND THE POOR GET POORER! OPPOSE THE TPPA! etc etc.

ALL of those people are now crying about the tariffs, and apparently they are suddenly and pro-free trade, and all because Trump reminded them what the opposite of free trade looks like.

Soap dodging lefty retards would be hilarious, if they weren't allowed to vote (and do real damage every time they successfully elect a lefty government.)

I am 30% down along with tax season payments and car repair. Was going to buy newer car with cash, but putting that on hold as I go poorer.
First 500-1000 miles is considered to be a break-in period for new car.

Having to borrow money from my portfolio punches me in the gut. Retail prices at stores are rising; inflation on top of more inflation.
