I shall watch Чекист simply because I have nothing better to do. I stopped reading about Russia about a year ago, the country is nauseating.

Poland is very Westernized, but West also means a high standard of living, decent healthcare (most "Western" countries have way better healthcare than the US). Non-West doesn't mean only ethnic women who wanna suck you off just because you're white. It also means poverty, high crime rates, poor infrastructure, population that doesn't speak English etc.

I'm not a Slav, but I speak 1 Slavic language and can understand a few others to some extent.
