How do you think they would react to reading your long detailed explanation of your struggles in life which ultimately led to your passing?
Discussion If you took your life and left your parents a long detailed note (like a shooter's manifesto) explaining your reasons how would you parents react?
I always thought that suicide notes were an oxymoron so this wouldn't happen, sorry for not playing along with the premise of your thread.

Well ropers definitionally don't care about their families so trying to explain their reasoning makes no sense.
I'd like to believe they would be devestated, but would - in a way, understand why.
Well, they could still go through with it even if they cared, if they felt they had no other choice but to end it.

My father would be dead by the time I consider that, but he's practically dead anyways judging by his presence in my life.

My mom would probably be appalled, finding it difficult to believe this is what I have transformed into—what I have endured in relative silence—though I am sure it would all make sense to her eventually, as she is well-aware of many aspects of my life, even if not all of them.
As for my father, he would probably be shocked as well, despite the fact he was never present; it would definitely be quite surreal for him to receive such news about his son, and I imagine—or at the very least hope—that regret would creep into his consciousness.
