Personally, I would pick Christianity. Although theres a lot of fixing up to do with the religion and it might not even be around 100 years from now (mainly due to Islamic demographic warfare in Christian nations), at least change can occur in Christian nations unlike Islamic nations where if you go against the teachings of the Quran, you will punished harshly (potentially by death depending on the severity of your actions) which leaves no room for change, and that’s why they will always be backward nations.

There is no 'freedom' that Christianity gives that Islam doesn't also give. People need to come to realize that on a fundamental level, Christianity and Islam hardly differ when it comes to what rules they actually enforce and how you're supposed to run society. The only reason that people act like Islam is so backwards is just because modern-day Christians don't read the Bible and look for literally any reason to critique Islam while not realizing that most of the time they're critiquing their own religion.

In reality, Christianity is just as if not more based than Islam. Women are expected to dress modestly, whores are ostracized and shamed, your wife can't remarry after your death and belongs to you as property, and a non-virgin woman is considered disgusting and shameful.

The ONLY thing you could say that Islam does that is more based is that they still execute whores while Christianity doesn't—but what nobody really talks about is that this almost never actually happens. The Middle East has always been packed with whores of all sorts of varieties, and they didn't go away when Islam arrived. Instead, they just moved to being more private with their whoredom, and that was enough for everyone to just turn a blind eye to them and act like they didn't exist. That has persisted to this day and you can easily find prostitutes anywhere in Arabia.
