I’d take a BMW to LARP and make pilgrimage to Isla Vista. It could be like Incel Mecca if we got a big meetup there :feelsautistic:

Toyota Corolla, cars are a meaningless COPE, the care that gets me from point A to B efficiently without breaking down, for the cheapest price is the best car. Car obsession triggers me, I still do it but I despise that part of myself.

All copes are meaningless if you put it like that. You dont care about cars so you get whatever works but some people like finding cool cars that are fun to drive or they like to fix up cars. At the worst its at least a better cope than eating or smoking or drinking or drugs

Lamborghini tbh

Is it better than drugs though? Depends if you end up addicted or not, drugs can give you a different perspective or help you cope with life a lot more than an extremely expensive shiny car.

I don't dislike cars, if I was extremely wealthy, i'd drive nice cars, that said, they are incredibly low on my list of importance. They do not motivate me in anyway. A corolla gets you to your destination just as fast at a fraction of the cost, has seating for 5 and storage unlike an Aventador or R8. Fantasizing about cars is like porn, they do not deliver, they cost way too much, you have tons of anxiety parking them, someone might key your car out of envy, etc. too much hassle and a bit of a flamboyant narcissitic zahabian signal of wealth/power.

Well, at least you can drive.

Japanese car with nice handling and suspension for leisure and comfort. Speed is redundant since traffic jams will slow down the cars.

Drugs cost money that you can never get back and the effects only last from seconds to a few hours. A car/vehicle costs money but it is always there and you can sell it again for money at any time.

Buying an expensive car just to show off wealth is a waste, because you spend all that money for something that only does what your Toyota corolla does but it looks a bit nicer. But fixing/working on cars is a good cope, better than drugs/food because you can always enjoy it, at any time, you can customize it to your personal taste, and you can learn things about fixing it and driving it.

Drugs are not only temporary but they damage your body. Even if you are not addicted they will be bad for you and if you are addicted then you will end up destroying your body and physically suffering every second you live in addition to your already present mental suffering.

But what you said about expensive cars like Lamborghinis or BMWs is definitely true, just an unnecessary show of wealth

Nice car, but still enough to fly under the radar.

Some weed, psychedelics, alcohol etc. are AMAZING copes, not expensive like a fancy car with high insurance rates and poor resale value. If you get addicted to drugs, that's on you, I never have.

Food is also much more enjoyable than a fancy car, cmon now.

I live in the last ghetto area of my city and I actually do my grocery shopping on a street that has an endless amount of luxury cars. I've seen basically every super car there is, over time, they just started to look less and less appealing to me.

The stress and cost of a nice car isn't worth it to me, if you like to work on cars, become a mechanic tbh.
