You don't get a choice. If you choose the "ethnic" option you can end up African-American, but there's also a chance you end up as rice/curry/sand/native american.

I chose to stay ethnic, for me its too early to feel regret, if this version of myself can become rich and successful, why would I even want to change that, so a question like this just feels kind of weird to me
