I remember that I talked about this earlier, but I'm sincere when I say this.

I have never in my life come across such a lobotomized, dumb and poorly programmed bot. It's laughable.
What else to expect from a free AI.

You ask a question > 3 exchanges further and he forgot what he told himself and what you asked for a few minutes ago.
Completely skips over critical imports or utility functions that I know should be there too. aka it's a garbage algo that only grabs surface snapshots without fully understanding how codebase components interact.

A bigger problem is how it handles nuanced queries. Literally anything beyond basic pattern matching like understanding relationships between modules or accounting, the shit bot doesn't seem to understand it and breaks down (while it's nearly 2026 and we have SORA shit out there where 9/10 people cant tell whether an object it's real or not).
Oh of course I forgot about that.... it's accessible to the public so consumer grade is meant to be kept in a certain box so the government doesn't lose too much control on the public and people don't pose a threat to the system....

So for the beginners here, when I worked on cloud with GPU 'pay as you go' payment systems: please do yourself a favor and do not EVER use this bot.

It makes me so mad, it literally boils my blood to the point where I wanted to throw my phone against a brick wall.
When I put €80 on my account to use a €1.20/hour GPU, nearly half of the money wasted cause deepseek went from Step 1 > step 3 > back to step 1 .... what's the nonsense about.

You know what his response was after wasting nearly €40 on cloud GPU? This was his response:

'You are right, my apologies, I have been all over the place, skipping steps and wasting your credits'.

I think that bot is the reason Mental asylums are still around

Vibe coding in December 2025. :lul:
There's a difference between vibe coding and using AI for answering specific questions.

Do you code, by the way?

It's not even funny anymore man.
I honestly think that they designed it to be this way on purpose like another one here said earlier. Best way to go is paying 'uncensored' ones.

Honestly if you want to code I wouldn't rely on AI. It's a crutch that's often wrong when it comes to particular knowledge you can only gain from doing it yourself.

My problem is that they can upload sora stuff but fixing this easy problem with deepseek isn't possible or they are doing it on purpose.

Normal citizens get the scraps while big Fat corporate pigs either keep the real stuff for themselves or if accessible make you pay a hefty amount for it

What languages?

is learning to code even still worth it?

I don't know, most of us in our early / mid 20's now, we will have half functioning brains by 2030 anyways.

By then, We'll have AI you can ask 'do XYZ' and in front of us appears an entire script ready to run. I don't think so unless you want to pursue a career in this and it's required for your job. All people will be fired and.it's either you being on fixed salary benefit or being 'AI supervisor" by the year 2040 cause your boss replaced you with AI.

i see so its obsolete :society:

DNC(did not code)

That's the thing with Ai. With somewhat dependencies and their versions, AI simply gets confused between the docs, and that is, if the devs are nice enough to put out coherent docs.

I fucking get you man, I feel that 99% of AIs are fucking retarded, and it becomes extremely infuriating very fast. I've been using ChatGPT and the way he talks makes me want to kms

I have spent the past Christmas (cause I don't celebrate it) on this fucking shit btw, it is infuriating sometimes but I'm getting there.
I'm nearly entirely done with the script.
I feel like Einstein even though I have been screwing around and ranting death wishes to deepseek in rage, and sometimes didnt know that I was doing

I find AI useful for learning how to code if your questions are very straightforward and specific. It gets confused if you ask questions with too great a scope. It also falls apart when you try and get it to build on prior information.
