In the Christmas movie The Grinch starring Jim Carrey, the grinch was ugly since birth, and he was treated as an outcast by his peers during childhood. The only unrealistic part of that movie was Martha May having a crush on him, when in reality that would never happen. A realistic aspect of the movie was how his school bully eventually became successful in life and became the mayor of whoville, while the grinch sat in a cave on the mountain and rotted for what seemed to be like 45 years or something. One of the lyrics in the grinch’s theme song is literally “you’re a rotter, Mr. Grinch”
