Then what are some modern games that are similar to these:
Baldurs Gate I (yes, the fucking part one)
Arcanum
Space Rangers
Star Wolves
Might and Magic 6-8
Betrayal At Krondor
TES Skyrim (yes, almost 15 years has passed since the last major TES game)
The Immortal (not an RPG in a strict sense, but nothing with this kind of vibe comes to my mind)

add your examples of RPG concepts you would want to see being made or revisited

I always hear this bullshit that RPGs are saturated and people are tired of generic WRPG settings. Yet this is not my experience at all. Because although we get a few RPG titles a year, very few if any of them ever come close to the great ones of the past, in the aspects that matter. And this bar is not that high if I'm being honest.

It's not that RPGs are saturated, it's that most of the new ones suck. I don't want to watch visual novels about characters I hate or don't care about.

Dragon Age Origins seeing as it is also a Bioware game and it was the spiritual successor to the Baldur's Gate games

Exactly, the new ones are just trash or simply don't live up to expectations most of the time. I don't even care if a game is about tolkienish orcs, elves, dwarves, etc. Give me a good rpg without the pronouns crap, with either great story or gameplay, and serviceable other aspects.

No, the first Baldurs Gate offers completely different experience to the later bioware crap. And, it's not like it does what it does well enough.

rpg is goyslop for normies

Witcher 3 was the last good one. I doubt we'll see any thing good come from Western AAA studios ever again. The future will be from a small group of indie developers with god tier aesthetic sense leveraging AI.
