How are you physically? Lean and out of shape? Or you got some athleticism on you?

No judgement by the way, I went to boot camp out of shape when I went in.
i havent ran like that since i graduated, but currently i am planning on running very soon, i do not have a max dead lift, and i am out of shape

Alright, fair. Here’s what you gotta do if you want to succeed in basic. First and foremost. First week is gonna be the worst of the worst. They’re gonna keep you up and prevent you from sleeping, your going to be getting all your shots and have your entire life serialized. get your CAC (Common access card) you’ll be asked a million fucking questions on your history. Whatever you said at MEPS. The same story remains, if you want to make it through basic, you gotta lie through your teeth if you have to. While in the military- you are not an incel. You don’t belong to any group. Be prepared to leave .is behind. If you are going to remain a .is member ensure you don’t get fucking doxxed. You’re gonna get cool military pictures. Ensure to censor serialized gear. Your face and last name on uniforms.

ANYTHING THAT CAN BE USED TO TRACK YOU DOWN. DO NOT MENTION UNIT NAMES, SCHOOLHOUSE, OR ANYTHING THAT CAN BE USED TO IDENTIFY YOU.

Outside .is post whatever the fuck you want. While on .is don’t post any of your military pics.

Workout. Work on yourself. Start running. Play music, focus and get stronger if this is truly something you want to do. You’re making a big step, and you’ll change throughout the process. Be prepared for that, you’ll more than likely be the butt of the joke, and be clowned on. Keep your chin up and truck along.

Be prepared to be shunned and looked down upon throughout training for your size. Don’t worry. And focus on getting through, you need to endure. Endurance is key.

take advantage of sundays, to recharge. Seek the chaplain while in training so you can get an opportunity to recharge.

Marine Corps Bootcamp is longer than Army BCT standing at 13 weeks long. Army BCT is 10 weeks long. Still. It’s going to feel like an eternity.
