I went to a large high school (3,000-4,000 people). It was super divisive compared to the village school I went to beforehand with only 200 kids (where I was well liked and popular). Even the introverted and nerdy kids didn't want to hang around me. In high school, it was basically just myself and a couple other cool dudes who were inclusive and in other cliques, or just other cool dudes who were excluded.

Went to a large hs as well. It was hell. Maybe for op it’s different but I hate crowds of people, drives me crazy, and I had to deal with that every single day. Hordes of zoomer normies flooding through the hallways, the fucking lunchrooms loud as shit, it makes you feel even lonelier. As crowded as the shithole was, surprisingly no one bothered me in the bathroom

I guess I know what it feels like to have wasted opportunities. I know that with time I can make more friends so if I stayed at the same school I would have made more friends but instead I studied in 5 different schools from Pre school to high school so I had a hard time making friends. I also found out recently that the more house moves a child experiences the worst their well being becomes. That must explain why the last high school I went to was the worst socially for me, my social skills probably deteriorated with each move as I experienced living in 5 different homes.
