I have an alcohol problem,once i start i will go on weeklong benders. I can drink a litre of vodka a day easily

The aftermath is literal hell with often insane thoughts about wanting to end it all. Im on a good streak of not drinking atm though.

No I would say that you would have a lot more stress and if you are really drunk you wouldn't know how to properly set up a rope and would therefore experience gruesome pain
