My step dad is hard af on me and my brothers and he claims its "So you can be successful in life" like when does treating your own immediate family as if you are in a warzone help them be successful and I was thinking about it yesterday and concluded that he would illegally abuse us if it was legal but he doesn't because of the law. Anyone else think the same way?
