Have anyone tried this idea?
Some sections of Talmud are translated to English, free for reading online, with varying degrees of censorship (Islam does the same by using less harsh words in English).
The rest of English translation are locked behind paywalls.
It's not some secretive languages; There's plenty of bible translations, with the translators required to specialize in Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew....the same languages used in the Talmud minus Greek.
It's long, boring, and functions more like a discussion with different scholars on a topic.
That's where the genius of 21st century technology comes in:
The GPT chatbots are trained on reddit data, so this is perfect for our purpose.
By feeding it the original text of Jerusalem Talmud and Babylonian Talmud, all we have to do is to ask the AI about things we want, and it will summarize it! I found that GPT5 tends to give context/note on ambiguous meanings of a word too, so this is a plus.
Also, by feeding it the Bible and other texts, we can let it more accurately generate the context and meaning of the words
